Nokia N8 Hands-on Overview from Nokia World 2010

We have Nokia N8 hands-on demo from Sami Maala, one of the Product Managers at Nokia. This was taken from Nokia World in London. Mr. Maala goes over the hardware and software features. The Nokia N8 has a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, HD video recording, Symbian^3, and more. You can enjoy HD-quality video with Dolby Digital Plus surround sound by plugging into your home theatre system. Powering the Nokia N8 is Symbian ^3, which introduces several major advances, including support for multi touch on the device’s 3.5in capacitive touchscreen. The Nokia N8 also offers multiple, personalizable homescreens which can be loaded with apps and widgets. The new 2D and 3D graphics architecture in the platform takes full advantage of the Nokia N8′s hardware acceleration to deliver a faster and more responsive user interface. Symbian^3 also promises to deliver greater memory management allowing more applications to run in parallel for a faster multi-tasking experience. One more thing that was shown was support for USB-on-the-Go. A 250GB external drive was connected to the Nokia N8 and you can even copy or move files around.
